Streamlined structures, fast decision making processes, attractive and innovative workplaces, own training centers and great team spirit. We are looking for a GNS Supervisor in our office in Paris. Job Description People: · Allocate workloads within the department. · Make sure department deadlines are being met in a timely manner. · Develop solid #2 to support operations. · Ensure team meets company standards of 52 hours training per year per employee. · Ensure that the new hires complete company?s mandatory training within the first 6 months. · Contribute to the effective weekly department meetings with team. · Review department goals and business plan periodically with team to ensure buy-in and accountability. Operations: · Assist the Regional Manager in establishing all staffing requirements and scheduling to support Ground Network Services operations. · Assist in developing and implementing best practices for load utilization and cargo integrity. · Assist the warehouse manager in developing and implementing cargo sort operating plans and work instructions, including dock plans for door schedules and sequencing, staging and segregation, door load assignments, and processing times as necessary. · Work with the warehouse manager to coordinate warehouse staffing needs.Insure that the warehouse receives all required documentation including load manifests and bills of lading. Assist in managing trailer inventories, yard services, security, and access to facilitate the sortation operations. · Monitor OS&D shipments. · Train and develop direct reports. · Support documentation as needed, including processing consolidations in e.tms Export and Import and monitoring work flows. · Work with the team on meeting KPI standards, as per the company?s procedures. · Supervise staff in monitoring work flows and all e.tms Export and Import consolidation processing activities. · Identifying potential capacity constraints in the scheduled network. · Assist in enacting contingencies to expand ad hoc capacity as needed, and arranging reroutes and additional trucks as necessary. · Ensure service provider equipment is in place at regional branches to facilitate operations. · Perform service provider reviews and update CRM as necessary. Finance: · Accurate and timely billing of vendors. · Make sure department deadlines are being met in a timely manner. · Monitor accounts payable to vendors utilizing BNP report. Compliance: · Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and in being the role model of integrity and pride for all employees. · Proactively communicate with the team to ensure continuous awareness and understanding of policies and regulations. · Maintain a positive relationship with the Trade Compliance Manager and support all compliance efforts and trainings. Qualifications Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Expeditors company policies and procedures knowledge A good understanding of Expeditors? products, services and systems Strong market and competition knowledge Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results. Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word etc.) Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, time management skills A proven history of providing exceptional customer service at all levels.
